Our participation in the 1st International Exhibition Industry.Tec - Industrial Equipment highlighted the importance of sustainability and circularity in industrial activities. We shared our stand with Eco Wave Dynamis and presented the groundbreaking "Wave Daedalus" project, a wave energy converter that converts wave power into electricity.

Urban Camel and Eco Wave Dynamis once again joined forces to participate in the Ocean Energy Europe Conference & Exhibition held on October 25th and 26th in the Netherlands. Together with Eco Wave Dynamis, the only Greek exhibitor, we presented the patented Wave Daedalus wave energy converter and the Smart Hybrid Energy System (S.H.E.S). Both prototypes received considerable attention, leading to the creation of follow-up editions and the exploration of new opportunities.

On May 11th, Urban Camel, the University of Applied Sciences Neu-Ulm (HNU Germany), and The University of West Attica (Greece) co-organized a hackathon event in Athens. Students from the aforementioned universities, as well as from Shenkar College (Israel), participated in teams and developed solutions for challenges set by companies within one day. The goal was to engage companies with the next generation of entrepreneurs and innovators.

The International Startup League was a Startup Festival held from May 1 to 6 at Neu-Ulm University of Applied Sciences (HNU). It was a privilege to serve as a jury member for the assessment of student solutions developed during the hackathon, and to participate in the roundtable discussion on "Teaching Entrepreneurship," where teaching formats, best practices, and new ideas were shared.

Urban Camel received the Silver Award for Green StartUp: "Urban Camel enabling Eco Wave Dynamis" at the Green Brand Awards 2023 ceremony held on March 21, 2023 in Athens, Greece. We are excited that our partnership with EWD has the potential to significantly contribute to the supply of renewable and untapped energy sources. This will accelerate decarbonization and promote eco-efficient business operations. This information was published in a press release by B2Green and energypress.

Urban Camel participated in the ISPIM Connects Athens conference organized by the International Society for Professional Innovation Management and held under the patronage of the Government of the Hellenic Republic. Our presentation highlighted the importance of circular innovation at the business model level. During the "Case Studies from Greece" session, we interviewed the CEO of a Greek startup and shared valuable insights with the audience about sustainable business growth in Greece.
