DQS Hellas is a member of the German DQS Holding GmbH, the official certification body of Germany with the largest worldwide network.

Challenge:

Design a process to improve the functioning of the internal market by increasing the circulation of sustainable energy-related products.

Solution:

Starting with regulatory monitoring, we co-designed a framework for the eco-labelling process for energy-related products such as white goods and electrical household appliances. In line with the EU Eco-design Directives, the framework describes the compliance, assessment, certification, verification and market surveillance processes for placing energy-related products on the market.

Result:

Accreditation and the award of the specific eco-label encourage the production, consumption, marketing and demand for products that generate economic, social and environmental benefits throughout their life cycle.
